We are very happy to report that planning permission has been granted for a new cattery and kennelling facility for Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary.
Operating a fostering service, Rescue Me runs in a slightly different way from standard rehoming centres. This means that they only need a small amount of kennels and cat pens in comparison, but of course the standard of the facility must still be suitable.
Although there are some small outbuildings on the site, these are gradually degrading and to ensure that our client has a facility that will last, we proposed to take the outbuildings down and reconstruct new dedicated blocks which are fit for purpose and sympathetic to the local environment.
Gaining planning permission for this centre hasn’t been the simplest but persevering with these designs will mean that our client will have a facility that is made to last. We now look forward to moving to the next stage and finding a builder!
